The supporters of MSClub booed when Real RedBulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Liberato didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored MSClub's protests and gave Armando Quinaz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Armando Quinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Liberato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Baptista in the 85th minute of play. Abel Marques who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Artur Liberato when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Artur Liberato made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Abel Marques sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute Aparício Belém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Valadão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joaquim Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over MSClub could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Real RedBulls throughout the match.
