Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nuno Antunes got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Óscar Morais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sertanense F.C. and the Fernandaires players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Óscar Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordão Bentes in the 6th minute of the match. Bento Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adérito Figueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Conde came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Sertanense F.C.'s Sebastião Cunha. But to his dismay, Sebastião Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nuno Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Conde having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Jordão Bentes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adérito Figueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sertanense F.C.'s zone, Adérito Figueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Andrade came out of the goal and Adérito Figueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Fernandaires's Jordão Bentes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bento Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nuno Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes in the game, Nuno Antunes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leonel Conde having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Cunha got free with Leonel Conde in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nuno Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Conde having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Idalécio Salgado during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Amaro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the game's 46th minute Sertanense F.C.'s Carlos Neves took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Leonel Conde and thus the score was 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Fernandaires's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Magalhães came free, but Leonel Conde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Cunha scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Conde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastião Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 69th minute of the match Idalécio Salgado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Idalécio Salgado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 70 played minutes Fernandaires got a freekick which was hit by Idalécio Salgado. If Inácio Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leonel Conde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Conde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Antunes in the 80th minute of play. Adérito Figueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Andrade having to interfere. Sebastião Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Fernandaires's Leonel Conde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Antunes in the 92nd minute of play. Sertanense F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
