In the 10th minute, Almiro Gameiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jorge Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timóteo Branco having to interfere. Timóteo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Santarém got free with Timóteo Branco in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Vital, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cheira FC's Armando Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Vital in the 37th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastião Salgado was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, André Vital managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aldriz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Vital was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Armando Guerreiro managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Aldriz FC's André Vital fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Gonçalves in the 60th minute of play forced Aldriz FC's goalkeeper Timóteo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joaquim Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheira FC's Joaquim Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquim Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timóteo Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. Timóteo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joaquim Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Gonçalves in the 82nd minute of play forced Aldriz FC's goalkeeper Timóteo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
