The supporters of Reveladas FC booed when lokomotiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Moita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Ricardo Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reveladas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Viegas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adolfo Corte-Real had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute of the match Vivaldo Lages shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Viana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 25 played minutes lokomotiv got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Santiago. Elias Póvoas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Emanuel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmiro Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for lokomotiv! The referee gave Reveladas FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amadeu Trindade, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of lokomotiv's Elias Póvoas. 0-1. Adolfo Corte-Real fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Viana having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Rui Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reveladas FC and the lokomotiv players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rui Leão hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Adolfo Corte-Real had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Cardoso made a kick off. Ricardo Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. lokomotiv's Elias Póvoas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Cardoso in the 61st minute of play. Elias Póvoas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Palmiro Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Armando Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Corte-Real, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st match minute, Reveladas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Guerreiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Campos in the 82nd minute of play forced Reveladas FC's goalkeeper Armando Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, lokomotiv's Elias Póvoas got control of the ball when Ricardo Viegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Reveladas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amadeu Trindade in the 88th minute. Ricardo Viegas struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Elias Póvoas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reveladas FC. lokomotiv's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Emanuel Cardoso scored to the left of an out of position Elias Póvoas, making the score, 0-3.
