Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Palmiro Mourão kicked off to start the match. Gaspar Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th match minute, F. C. PORTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Maia to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, S.C.G's Nicolas Belém tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in S.C.G's zone, Lázaro Parente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Gomes came out of the goal and Lázaro Parente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Armindo Varanda notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F. C. PORTO's Micael Lages. Micael Lages was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Micael Lages came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C.G's Adélio Sacramento. But to his dismay, Adélio Sacramento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of S.C.G booed when F. C. PORTO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmiro Mourão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Micael Lages made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Varanda in the 32nd minute of play. When Palmiro Mourão came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the F. C. PORTO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Palmiro Mourão couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Carlos Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. F. C. PORTO's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palmiro Mourão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Lázaro Parente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The F. C. PORTO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.C.G were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Martins to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Gaspar Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micael Lages saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gaspar Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micael Lages made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Armindo Varanda sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, F. C. PORTO's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Martins came free, but Micael Lages reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as S.C.G's Adélio Sacramento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Micael Lages. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. In the 70th minute Gaspar Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micael Lages saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Gaspar Martins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Micael Lages. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 84th match minute, F. C. PORTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palmiro Mourão to maneuver through the defense. Micael Lages made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armindo Varanda in the 86th minute. Armindo Varanda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Micael Lages made a huge save. Armindo Varanda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Micael Lages read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Gaspar Martins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Micael Lages having to make a save. Palmiro Mourão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The S.C.G players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
