Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) José Dantas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pedro Torres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Vieira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rodrigo Vieira was a little too slow when José Dantas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Francisco Coelho hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Tires booed when Melides FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Melides FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Vieira. Pedro Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Rogério Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Coelho hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Rogério Moutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, David Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melides FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Dantas in the 42nd minute of play. Pedro Torres's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodrigo Vieira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tires's José Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Moutinho to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, José Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If José Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tires's Diamantino Matias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Tires from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Tires booed when Melides FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Dantas in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Vieira saved Melides FC from getting behind. In the 71stth minute of the game José Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melides FC's Rodrigo Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Torres scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute José Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Dantas in the 78th minute of play. Diamantino Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. David Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Tires got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Guarda. Diamantino Matias made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when David Amaro sent off a good shot on target. If David Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Melides FC's Diamantino Matias threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogério Moutinho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tires's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
