The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Azenha got free with Bernardo Lisboa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 minutes of play, FC RAFA's Claudio Di Pietrantonio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fábio Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fábio Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Di Pietrantonio in the 26th minute of play. If Sebastião Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC RAFA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Mota in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Mota got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fábio Monteiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sebastião Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fábio Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Lisboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angélico Ventura showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play.

Bernardo Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nélson Gago in the 76th minute of the match. Fábio Monteiro had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Ricardo Mota's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fábio Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Coimbra in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Coimbra in the 91st minute of play forced F.C BAIRRO's goalkeeper Fábio Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, FC RAFA's Claudio Di Pietrantonio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fábio Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Sebastião Coimbra took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Fábio Monteiro to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Manuel Valente put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Lisboa. The F.C BAIRRO players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
