Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Derek Hämmerling started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Negreiros FC's Mário Luz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When David Jesus fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Ovelhinha's protests and gave David Jesus a yellow card for diving instead. David Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Filipe Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Santana in the 11th minute of play. Mário Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Ovelhinha's David Jesus got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. The referee ordered David Jesus off the ground. David Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Filipe Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Luz in the 15th minute. In the 15th match minute, SC Ovelhinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derek Hämmerling to maneuver through the defense. If Mário Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Ovelhinha's goalkeeper Filipe Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Máximo Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Santana in the 25th minute of play. If Mário Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Vestlund struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. João Avelar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ovelhinha. Valter Maciel made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC Ovelhinha's Alfredo Correia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Correia in the 41st minute of play forced Negreiros FC's goalkeeper João Avelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Máximo Santana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filipe Correia. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, SC Ovelhinha's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Luz came free, but Filipe Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Varela's late challenge caught a SC Ovelhinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Varela helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Eusébio Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robert Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Negreiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Magalhães came free, but João Avelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Ovelhinha's Humberto Baptista got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Afonso Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Vestlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. João Avelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Negreiros FC's João Avelar got control of the ball when Derek Hämmerling tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Eusébio Varela threw the ball into play from the sideline. SC Ovelhinha's Afonso Nascimento quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Derek Hämmerling came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the SC Ovelhinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derek Hämmerling couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mário Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Negreiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Mário Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Negreiros FC were victorious despite being under pressure from SC Ovelhinha for much of the match.
