Lourenço Torcato came out of the goal and Humberto Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Humberto Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Ovelhinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tacoes the free kick. 8 minutes into the game, one of SC Ovelhinha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The throw-in from Amadeu Montenegro in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Ovelhinha's Afonso Nascimento. João Viana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lourenço Torcato. Tacoes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filipe Correia made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Fagundes in the 21st minute. José Marques hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, David Jesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. António Fagundes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Filipe Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The Tacoes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Fagundes in the 59th minute of play forced SC Ovelhinha's goalkeeper Filipe Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço Torcato was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Derek Hämmerling capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Derek Hämmerling really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 66th minute, Tobias Colaço hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Sobral charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Sobral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Sobral hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, David Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ovelhinha's supporters rose to their feet, but David Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. The Tacoes players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
