Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Máximo Santana started the match with the kick off. Negreiros FC's João Avelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Correia in the 4th minute of play. João Avelar made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Paiva in the 8th minute. Máximo Santana scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Aleixo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Recoutas FC's Heitor Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Heitor Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Avelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Máximo Santana in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Aleixo saved Recoutas FC from getting behind. Heitor Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute of the match, Heitor Correia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Avelar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Jesualdo Moniz fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Negreiros FC's protests and gave Jesualdo Moniz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Recoutas FC booed when Negreiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesualdo Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heitor Correia made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Mário Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Negreiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Heitor Correia came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Recoutas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Correia couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Negreiros FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Igor lacerda hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Correia in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Avelar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Avelar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Eusébio Varela walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. João Avelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Santana in the 94th minute of play forced Recoutas FC's goalkeeper Joel Aleixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
