Jorge Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Rogério Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Conqueiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seide FC the free kick. In the 4th minute, one of SC Conqueiros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Conqueiros. SC Conqueiros:s Jorge Branco showed great skill when he stopped Isidoro Lencastre:s penalty. In the 6th minute, Isidoro Lencastre made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Branco. SC Conqueiros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Januário Figueiras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seide FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Januário Figueiras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the game, Gentil Cardoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jorge Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldaír Festas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Januário Figueiras struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jorge Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seide FC. Januário Figueiras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Gentil Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to SC Conqueiros getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Henrique Leite hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Seide FC's Isidoro Lencastre tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Jorge Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homero Horta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Amaro in the 42nd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Rui Amaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Homero Horta, 1-2. The SC Conqueiros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seide FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gentil Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Januário Figueiras in the 54th minute. Januário Figueiras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jorge Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gentil Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Januário Figueiras got free with Jorge Branco in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rui Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Amaro in the 94th minute of play forced Seide FC's goalkeeper Homero Horta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seide FC played a much better game than SC Conqueiros and deserved their victory. The SC Conqueiros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
