Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Altino Bessa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Laurentino Leitão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jorge Avelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Jorge Padilha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Almeida the free kick. Jorge Padilha kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Afonso Moutinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Avelar skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Prada in the 13th minute of play forced ADO's goalkeeper Jorge Avelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altino Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Evandro Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Guerreiro having to interfere. Zacarias Prada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jorge Avelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Prada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Avelar having to interfere. When SC Almeida's Zacarias Prada in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ADO's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 minutes, Jacinto Figueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADO and the SC Almeida players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ADO's Jacinto Figueira got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Laurentino Leitão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zacarias Prada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurentino Leitão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Avelar came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Almeida's Zacarias Prada. But to his dismay, Zacarias Prada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zacarias Prada to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, ADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Figueira to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Laurentino Leitão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Avelar. ADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurentino Leitão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Zacarias Prada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Miguel Candeias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laurentino Leitão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jorge Avelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altino Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute of the match António Valentim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Guerreiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Evandro Araújo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Carlos Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ADO. After a rather tough play, ADO's Jorge Padilha got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Jorge Padilha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Avelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Prada in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Laurentino Leitão managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Almeida's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurentino Leitão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Avelar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When SC Almeida's Zacarias Prada in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ADO's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Prada in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Avelar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurentino Leitão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Avelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Prada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurentino Leitão struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jorge Avelar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Almeida. Miguel Candeias hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. SC Almeida's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Altino Bessa 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After having played for 92 minutes, Laurentino Leitão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Almeida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurentino Leitão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Zacarias Prada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jorge Avelar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
