Adelino Valverde was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Henrique Magalhães.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Moutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Nesperido FC booed when DioWarriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Trigueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Valente couldn't finish the play. Adelino Valverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Valente in the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, DioWarriors's Lucas Moutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Álvaro Velasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Velasques scored 2-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Nogueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The DioWarriors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
