SC Cete's 程南伟 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Delgado in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th minute André Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 程南伟 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. 程南伟 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 程南伟 having to interfere. 程南伟 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Delgado was the one to do the kick off. André Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Teixeira in the 59th minute of play forced SC Cete's goalkeeper 程南伟 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Falcoeiras's Abel Delgado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 程南伟. That made the score 0-1 after 61 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Delgado in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 程南伟 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Antunes got free with 程南伟 in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd match minute, SC Cete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Abel Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. 程南伟 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Nunes having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Abel Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Falcoeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Delfim Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Falcoeiras the free kick. In the 87th match minute, SC Cete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Porto to maneuver through the defense. André Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 程南伟 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, André Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SC Cete fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Falcoeiras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
