Simão Garcia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Celso Meira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Silvano Patrício sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Gueifão hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 89th match minute, Goucharia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teófilo Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Gabriel Bessa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Goucharia's Celso Meira. Celso Meira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Barros struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Bernardo Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goucharia.
