Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domingos Faro started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Jaime Branco had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Domingos Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delfim Baptista hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Benfica United Lisbon Lda's Pedro Nogueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Anjos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Nogueira in the 8th minute of play forced Lagedo's goalkeeper Armando Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Delfim Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Baptista hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Eusébio Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Taavi Alliksaar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagedo. Gustavo Monteiro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Francisco Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Taavi Alliksaar made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Leite got free with Taavi Alliksaar in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Leite was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Delfim Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 31 minutes into the match, Benfica United Lisbon Lda's goalkeeper Taavi Alliksaar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Leite. Armando Anjos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Nogueira went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Castro struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Armando Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benfica United Lisbon Lda. Francisco Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Taavi Alliksaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Benfica United Lisbon Lda were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. Delfim Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Taavi Alliksaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taavi Alliksaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Pedro Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benfica United Lisbon Lda's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Anjos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pedro Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Domingos Faro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lagedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benfica United Lisbon Lda the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Lagedo's zone, Pedro Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Anjos came out of the goal and Pedro Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Anjos was a little too slow when Pedro Nogueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-2. Francisco Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taavi Alliksaar having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Armando Anjos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 91 minutes into the game, Francisco Leite cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Taavi Alliksaar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Benfica United Lisbon Lda eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
