Alfredo Rodrigues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simão Simões. SC Banho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Simão Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Banho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Cerdeirinhas the free kick. Simão Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Cabral in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Mariano Cabral made a precise shot to the right of Simão Simões. SC Banho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Pereira got free with Simão Simões in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandre Pereira took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simão Simões. Simão Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Amadeu Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Rodrigues having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, SC Cerdeirinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Alves to maneuver through the defense.
