Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rui Leite started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4thth minute of the game Rui Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Areia's Jaime Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Bento Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, SC Areia's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Leite came free, but Jaime Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Fernando Leite took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Paulo Simões to make any attempt to save it. If Bruno Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Rocha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo Simões firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sérgio Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Simões having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fábio Machado during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of SC Dream Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Areia:s goal. After 35 played minutes SC Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Martins. Paulo Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Leite in the 39th minute of play. Paulo Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Rocha in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rdth minute of the game Rui Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Areia's Jaime Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Leite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaime Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 53 minutes, Fernando Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Areia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Nogueira in the 57th minute of the match. Rui Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, SC Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Leite came free, but Paulo Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Leite went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Fernando Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Paulo Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SC Dream Team's Jaime Andrade threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rui Leite, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bruno Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Areia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
