Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tobias Rijo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ALHEIRAS's goalkeeper Leonardo Amaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gustavo Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute, Rodrigo Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Amaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigo Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Tobias Rijo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mário Fernandes. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Rijo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Leonardo Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golega. Manuel Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Amaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. Mário Fernandes came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by FC ALHEIRAS's Filipe Branco. But to his dismay, Filipe Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Filipe Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Rijo in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Pires got free with Leonardo Amaro in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70thth minute of the game António Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ALHEIRAS's Leonardo Amaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Golega's Mário Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Branco in the 72nd minute of play. Tobias Rijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mário Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 82 minutes, Manuel Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. António Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Golega's António Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Amaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Alberto Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Golega's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Branco came free, but Mário Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Golega players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC ALHEIRAS.
