Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bento Jesus got the match started through his kick off. Basílio Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10thth minute of the game Osvaldo Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Palhota's Basílio Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basílio Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Leal in the 12th minute of the match. Isac Severiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Jesus in the 15th minute of play. Vladimiro Zarco's late challenge caught a SC Palhota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Zarco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Vladimiro Zarco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Mariano Corte-Real's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basílio Pinto was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Isac Severiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Guarda in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes FC Serdragon got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Soares. In the 42nd match minute, FC Serdragon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Soares to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Nuno Guarda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Isac Severiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Leal was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Nuno Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Severiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rui Macieira fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Serdragon's protests and gave Rui Macieira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Rui Macieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Palhota's Basílio Pinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save SC Palhota from getting a goal against them. Bento Jesus scored 2-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Severiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bento Jesus hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basílio Pinto having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Osvaldo Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Osvaldo Leal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Osvaldo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Basílio Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Serdragon's goalkeeper Isac Severiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Palhota's zone, Osvaldo Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Pinto came out of the goal and Osvaldo Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Palhota were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Serdragon for a fine match.
