Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alcobertas F.C.'s Dércio Soeiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mariano Corte-Real had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Serdragon's goalkeeper Isac Severiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Hermes Malta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcobertas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hermes Malta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Severiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dércio Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alcobertas F.C.'s Adriano Gusmão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Alcobertas F.C. from getting a goal against them. Dércio Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Isac Severiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Hermes Malta made a precise shot to the right of Isac Severiano. FC Serdragon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Adriano Gusmão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Corte-Real, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Hermes Malta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alcobertas F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 41 minutes into the game, Aloísio Azeredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcobertas F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Serdragon the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Aloísio Azeredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Alcobertas F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aloísio Azeredo hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Alcobertas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Corte-Real came free, but Adriano Gusmão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Alcobertas F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute Osvaldo Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Gusmão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Serdragon's Isac Severiano got control of the ball when Hermes Malta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Vladimiro Zarco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osvaldo Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adriano Gusmão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervásio Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Corte-Real fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Gusmão having to interfere. Alcobertas F.C.'s Adriano Gusmão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Leal in the 75th minute of play. Isac Severiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dércio Soeiro in the 78th minute of the match. Mariano Corte-Real's late challenge caught a Alcobertas F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Corte-Real helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes FC Serdragon got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Corte-Real. After having played for 81 minutes, Dércio Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcobertas F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dércio Soeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Osvaldo Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dércio Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isac Severiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dércio Soeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Alcobertas F.C.'s Pascoal Neto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isac Severiano but with some difficulty. Mariano Corte-Real received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adriano Gusmão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
