SC Queitide's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Paião struck a weak shot in the 54th minute.
