Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mário Palmeira started the match with the kick off. A collision led to CHA CHA CHA CHA getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Elias Vidigal hit a great ball. In the 4th minute of the match Tomás Faro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inácio Costa skillfully saved the ball. In the 6th minute, Oliveira Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mário Palmeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Borba came out and tried to block the shot, but Mário Palmeira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Tomás Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Costa having to interfere. Inácio Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliveira Miranda's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Oliveira Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Alapela FC's Oliveira Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inácio Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 38th match minute, Alapela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Moniz to maneuver through the defense. Alapela FC's Paulo Borba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Alapela FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Moniz during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Ricardo Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mário Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Pinheiro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Tomás Henriques might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inácio Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Henriques ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Henriques to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Tomás Henriques reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Inácio Costa. The goal made the score 1-2. Inácio Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Miranda in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Miguel Bandeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHA CHA CHA CHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Bandeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Tomás Henriques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inácio Costa was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the game, Alapela FC's Oliveira Miranda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inácio Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Oliveira Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alapela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveira Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inácio Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Bandeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Borba having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Alapela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Palmeira came free, but Paulo Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alapela FC's goalkeeper Paulo Borba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute Mário Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alapela FC's Oliveira Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliveira Miranda got free with Inácio Costa in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alapela FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
