Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gastão Carvalho in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Albertino Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute of the match Henrique Guarda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Rossi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Albertino Vale sped through Castanhos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Rossi. Soudos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
