Maurício Bezerra ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Monteiras FC's goalkeeper Flávio Ramires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Padilha. Flávio Ramires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Monteiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Correia to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Maurício Bezerra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flávio Ramires. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Flávio Ramires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Padilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, NELIA E NANDO's Maurício Bezerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flávio Ramires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Flávio Ramires came out of the goal and Alberto Padilha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Padilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio Ramires having to interfere.
