Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacinto Amaral got the match started through his kick off. Alberto Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, S.MARTA's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Amaral came free, but Basílio Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Jacinto Amaral notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of S.MARTA's Basílio Pinho. Basílio Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Basílio Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Amaral in the 16th minute of play. Jacinto Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Basílio Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ricardo Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Jacinto Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basílio Pinho. S.MARTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 44 played minutes, Salema FC's Alexandre Coelho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basílio Pinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Salema FC reached it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bento Guerreiro to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Luís Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Martins in the 62nd minute of play forced Salema FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Marques having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Amaral during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Salema FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Amaral. After a rather tough play, Salema FC's Luís Amaro got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 77 minutes, Alexandre Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.MARTA and the Salema FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Basílio Pinho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luís Amaro. Bento Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eusébio Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salema FC's Eusébio Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Dantas in the 91st minute of play. Bento Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Pinho having to interfere.
