Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Barbosa started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Gois in the 4th minute of play forced SC Miradeses's goalkeeper Cristóvão Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexifd's Germano Gois got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germano Gois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Aragão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Germano Gois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Abílio Álvares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexifd's supporters rose to their feet, but Abílio Álvares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Anjos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Guerreiro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Carlos Pires hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Hildeberto Linhares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristóvão Anjos. SC Miradeses's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. António Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mexifd booed when SC Miradeses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Gois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, SC Miradeses's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Gois came free, but Cristóvão Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Miradeses's Cristóvão Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abílio Álvares in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Gois made a kick off. SC Miradeses's Cristóvão Anjos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Miradeses from getting a goal against them. After 57 minutes, Germano Gois made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Miradeses's Cristóvão Anjos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Germano Gois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cristóvão Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Miradeses's Cristóvão Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Gois in the 63rd minute of play. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, Germano Gois recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristóvão Anjos. Germano Gois showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Germano Gois managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 81 played minutes Mexifd got a freekick which was hit by Abílio Álvares. 86 minutes into the match, Leonel Bandeira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristóvão Anjos, 0-3. 89 minutes into the match, SC Miradeses's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Gois came free, but Cristóvão Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexifd's João Velasques shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cristóvão Anjos but with some difficulty. In the 94th minute, Filipe Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sérgio Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SC Miradeses fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Paredes couldn't finish the play. The Mexifd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexifd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
