Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Cunha kicked off to start the match. Adão Lessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Esteves having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Adão Lessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Leitão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Cunha in the 9th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Pedro Cunha rounded Aroeiras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Aroeiras's Sandro Leitão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Cunha in the 15th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Caratao's Daniel Trindade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandro Leitão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Caratao's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Paredes came free, but Manuel Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Horácio Paredes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Esteves. Caratao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Paredes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Manuel Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Leitão, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Caratao's André Melo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Cunha in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Leitão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Cunha in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Leitão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horácio Paredes was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Leitão got free with Manuel Esteves in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Ivan Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Caratao's zone, Horácio Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Esteves came out of the goal and Horácio Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Leitão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Leitão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Caratao's André Melo got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Horácio Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caratao's zone, Mauro Leitão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Esteves came out of the goal and Mauro Leitão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes of play, Caratao's Daniel Trindade made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Leitão was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Trindade took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Leitão. Sandro Leitão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caratao had won after a very even match.
