Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amado Azevedo got the match started through his kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sernada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Sernada:s Tiago Coimbra showed great skill when he stopped Gaspar Veríssimo:s penalty. 5 minutes into the match, Gaspar Veríssimo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Coimbra. Sernada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Veríssimo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Hélder Cabral scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Lage, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Lage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Santos's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Hélder Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Sequeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Coimbra having to interfere. A collision led to Sernada getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nuno Vieira hit a great ball. Hélder Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Lage read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Tobias Lage didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio Santos went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute Amado Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Laureano Sequeira sent off a good shot on target. Basílio Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Hélder Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sernada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Basílio Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hélder Cabral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Lage was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. If Basílio Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pegas do Monsanto F.C.'s Tobias Lage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Cabral in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Santos got free with Tobias Lage in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Sernada's Basílio Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Laureano Sequeira took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Coimbra. Tiago Coimbra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 70 minutes, Laureano Sequeira made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sernada's Tiago Coimbra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Lage was a little too slow when Hélder Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 3-4. Basílio Santos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-5 in the 88th playminute. Laureano Sequeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Laureano Sequeira notched a goal, 4-5, to the right of Sernada's Tiago Coimbra. Tiago Coimbra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sernada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
