The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Pegas do Monsanto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Tavares. After 9 played minutes Guga FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Jesus. Cláudio Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to Pegas do Monsanto F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Amado Azevedo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Tavares in the 18th minute of play forced Pegas do Monsanto F.C.'s goalkeeper Tobias Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlaho Kodar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Tobias Lage skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edgar Tavares hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Barış Ülküsel struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tobias Lage didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guga FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vlaho Kodar to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pegas do Monsanto F.C. booed when Guga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Pegas do Monsanto F.C.'s Laureano Sequeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a little luck, Guga FC's Cláudio Carvalho got control of the ball when Laureano Sequeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cipriano Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Sequeira came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cláudio Carvalho could save by the left post. In the 94th minute, Sebastião Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guga FC had played much better football throughout.
