Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The Warriors's João Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, The Warriors's Nuno Quintela got control of the ball when Cláudio Soveral tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, SC Chamine's goal looked a bit too open when João Simões came free, but Álvaro Rebocho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Herberto Castilho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Chamine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Warriors the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Chamine fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! In the 14th minute there was a penalty for The Warriors. Valdemar Poças stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Álvaro Rebocho. 0-1. In the 17th minute, João Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Álvaro Rebocho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nuno Quintela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cláudio Soveral went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 32 minutes, João Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Rebocho having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SC Chamine's Renato Espinosa in the 40th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Nuno Quintela was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for The Warriors through an amazing save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renato Espinosa was the one to do the kick off. João Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Rebocho having to interfere. Eusébio Viveiros charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Viveiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Eusébio Viveiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Soveral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Quintela having to interfere. Renato Espinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nuno Quintela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herberto Bettencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Rebocho having to interfere. Valério Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valério Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes SC Chamine got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Silveira. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Simões in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Rebocho saved SC Chamine from getting behind. 91 minutes into the game, Renato Espinosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Nuno Quintela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herberto Bettencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Rebocho having to interfere. The Warriors were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
