In the 7th minute, Sérgio Vilas Boas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coucieiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 16 played minutes Coucieiro got a freekick which was hit by Matias Pacheco. In the 20thth minute of the game Aparício Serpa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coucieiro's Tarcísio Sequeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coucieiro's Tarcísio Sequeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Coucieiro from getting a goal against them. Aparício Serpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tarcísio Sequeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Altino Horta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altino Horta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Portugal having to interfere. Aparício Serpa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aparício Serpa in the 36th minute of play forced Coucieiro's goalkeeper Tarcísio Sequeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Vilas Boas might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Portugal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Vilas Boas ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to SC Nisa getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Veríssimo Caldeira hit a great ball. SC Nisa's André Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altino Horta in the 49th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Coucieiro's zone, Lucas Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcísio Sequeira came out of the goal and Lucas Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Portugal made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sérgio Vilas Boas sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Garcez kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Sérgio Vilas Boas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Portugal having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Altino Horta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarcísio Sequeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aparício Serpa in the 74th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Coucieiro's Teófilo Meireles tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Wilson Lameirinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Vilas Boas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Portugal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altino Horta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coucieiro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
