When Manuel Bulhosa came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SC Arelho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Bulhosa couldn't finish the play. Manuel Araújo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Mariano Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Parreira getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Fernando Assis hit a great ball. SC Arelho's Abel Igrejas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save SC Arelho from getting a goal against them. Amadeu Lemos charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Lemos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, SC Arelho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Lemos to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Mariano Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Igrejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Igrejas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Resende in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Paredes was the one to do the kick off. Abel Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Resende in the 51st minute of the match. The goal made the score 0-1. 61 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Caneira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Arelho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parreira the free kick. After 61 played minutes SC Arelho got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Caneira. Rodrigo Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Manuel Bulhosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lourenço Valente. Parreira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Bulhosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of SC Arelho booed when Parreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 75 in the game by Manuel Bulhosa from a close distance when the talented Lourenço Valente managed to make a qualified save. Parreira's players were relieved. Parreira's Lourenço Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Bulhosa in the 80th minute of play. When Jorge Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Parreira fans jumped to their feet. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The SC Arelho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
