Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porfírio Liberato in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avelino Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Avelino Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudemiro lacerda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Plácido Manso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Telmo Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Alte's Claudemiro lacerda got a free kick in the 39th minute. Plácido Manso came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Telmo Bessa could save by the left post. Vítor Caiado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Avelino Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudemiro lacerda in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Bessa saved GNR FC from getting behind. Telmo Bessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Plácido Manso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Claudemiro lacerda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Telmo Bessa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gusmão Graça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
