Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adelino Barcelos started the match with the kick off. Game Over's Pedro Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Game Over from getting a goal against them. VRM's Homero Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Mascarenhas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. VRM's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 10thth minute of the game Alexandre Mascarenhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Game Over's Pedro Pinheiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes Game Over got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Tavares. After 17 played minutes VRM got a freekick which was hit by Homero Rodrigues. In the 21st minute, Alexandre Mascarenhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Alexandre Mascarenhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. VRM's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Mascarenhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Mascarenhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Mascarenhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Pinheiro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Mascarenhas to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Game Over's goal looked a bit too open when Homero Rodrigues came free, but Pedro Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vítor Padilha came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Game Over fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Padilha couldn't finish the play. Vítor Padilha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Fontoura having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Game Over fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Vítor Padilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Vicente Fontoura made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Adelino Barcelos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gusmão Coutinho's late challenge caught a Game Over's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gusmão Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Gusmão Coutinho hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Ramiro Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VRM's protests and gave Ramiro Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Ramiro Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Vítor Padilha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adelino Barcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. VRM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Padilha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Raul Benevides's late challenge caught a VRM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Benevides helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Game Over's Raul Benevides got a free kick in the 98th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
