Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacob Morais got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Rui Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Brochado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Gonçalves, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. SC Cardiellos's Humberto Brochado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Leal in the 10th minute of play. Humberto Brochado came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Malveira FC's Rui Freitas. But to his dismay, Rui Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Malveira FC's Diamantino Leal got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rui Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabiano Azenha kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Cardiellos getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fabiano Azenha hit a great ball. Humberto Brochado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Leal in the 24th minute of the match. Humberto Brochado came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Malveira FC's Diamantino Leal. But to his dismay, Diamantino Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Malveira FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gabriel Neto hit a great ball. Diamantino Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Humberto Brochado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Freitas to make the kick off. Carlos Marques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Alcântara went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Diamantino Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Humberto Brochado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Brochado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Leal got free with Humberto Brochado in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Malveira FC's Rui Freitas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cardiellos's zone, Rui Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Brochado came out of the goal and Rui Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diamantino Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Humberto Brochado made a huge save. Jacob Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Rui Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Brochado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Julião Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Cardiellos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malveira FC the free kick. The supporters of Malveira FC booed when SC Cardiellos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julião Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Cardiellos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Malveira FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Malveira FC.
