Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caetano Gameiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Augusto Pegado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Oliveira in the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Faceira booed when SC Murtal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Murtal's Mário Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save SC Murtal from getting a goal against them. After 12 minutes of play, SC Murtal's André Fernandes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Pegado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Caetano Gameiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mário Neto. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Caetano Gameiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Olívio Moita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faceira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olívio Moita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute, Mariano Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Murtal's Mário Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Gameiro in the 29th minute of play. Rui Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Pegado having to interfere. Augusto Pegado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Fernandes in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caetano Gameiro got free with Mário Neto in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Marco Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. Olívio Moita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mário Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Faceira's Caetano Gameiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mário Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Augusto Pegado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Caetano Gameiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mário Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Caetano Gameiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faceira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caetano Gameiro in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes SC Murtal got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Pinheiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Caetano Gameiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faceira's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Gameiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faceira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Murtal for a fine match.
