The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, SC Praganca's Vasco Rocha threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Afonso Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 28 minutes into the game, Alexandre Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavadores FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Praganca the free kick. Alexandre Garcia hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A collision led to SC Praganca getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gaspar Andrade hit a great ball. Jorge Fonseca hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The long shot by Vítor Monteiro in the 80th minute really tested Amadeu Henriques's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 82 minutes into the match, SC Praganca's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Tavares came free, but Amadeu Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Miguel Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lavadores FC's Vasco Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Moura in the 89th minute of play. Eusébio Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Tavares in the 96th minute of play forced SC Praganca's goalkeeper Amadeu Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
