Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. André Neves started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Catarino Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Choqueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Catarino Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Avelar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Neves in the 8th minute of play forced Valenca FC's goalkeeper Donato Avelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that André Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Avelar was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 19 played minutes Valenca FC got a freekick which was hit by Alcino Mascarenhas. Gil Marques was a little too slow when Estevão França got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Abílio Boaventura kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. André Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Avelar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Catarino Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Zeferino Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valenca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Choqueira the free kick. The supporters of SC Choqueira booed when Valenca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeferino Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alcino Mascarenhas kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that André Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Avelar was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Abílio Boaventura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Marques having to make a save. Valenca FC's Vasco Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Catarino Neves could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Donato Avelar however easily saved by the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Catarino Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Donato Avelar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Neves in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Avelar saved Valenca FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevão França in the 73rd minute of play forced SC Choqueira's goalkeeper Gil Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristiano Neves fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Choqueira's protests and gave Cristiano Neves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, SC Choqueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Neves to maneuver through the defense. If Estevão França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valenca FC's Donato Avelar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Neves in the 84th minute of play. Donato Avelar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catarino Neves in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, André Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, SC Choqueira's André Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Avelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Alcino Mascarenhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
