When Carlos Brito came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SC Agrelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Brito couldn't finish the play. Rui Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Carlos Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Agrelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basílio Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vítor Nunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. SC Agrelo's Daniel Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Nunes in the 16th minute of play. Basílio Leal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Brito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. The referee ignored SC Agrelo's protests and gave Hugo Faria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Hugo Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Agrelo's goalkeeper Daniel Reis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vítor Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Reis having to interfere. Cândido Moutinho struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Basílio Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Agrelo. The wind increased when Vítor Nunes made the kick off in the second half. SC Agrelo's Hugo Faria got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Daniel Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
