In the 7th minute, Fernando Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Inácio Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarbas Castilho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Albertino Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamprestes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertino Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Bessa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Cássio Falcão scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inácio Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Pedro Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Liberato took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inácio Martins. Jamprestes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 43 played minutes Albertino Moura rounded SC Falgueiras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Falcão was the one to do the kick off. Jamprestes FC's attentive Rui Nogueira managed to snatch the ball when Emanuel Alvarenga made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Fernando Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Jarbas Castilho collided with one of Jamprestes FC's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. After 64 played minutes Jamprestes FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Carvalho. Albertino Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Bessa having to interfere. Cássio Falcão struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Inácio Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Falgueiras. In the 76th match minute, SC Falgueiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Modesto to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Vicente Bessa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamprestes FC. Jamprestes FC's Emanuel Leão suffered a sore thigh after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Anselmo Teixeira's late challenge caught a Jamprestes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. Jamprestes FC made a substitution. Fábio Viana replaced Emanuel Leão. Anselmo Teixeira hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The supporters of Jamprestes FC booed when SC Falgueiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Modesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamprestes FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
