The supporters of SC Falgueiras booed when Arneiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Falcão in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, one of Arneiro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Adalberto Tristão charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalberto Tristão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Falgueiras getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Adalberto Tristão hit a great ball. Joel Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cândido Sá hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Joel Ferro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarbas Castilho's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, SC Falgueiras's Cássio Falcão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Ferro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cássio Falcão took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Ferro. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes of play, SC Falgueiras's Cássio Falcão made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Ferro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélio Caires charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Caires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Hélio Caires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Arneiro's Filipe Bessa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Arneiro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Falgueiras:s goal. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for SC Falgueiras. Bernardo Liberato stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joel Ferro. 5-1. SC Falgueiras's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
