Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquim Simões took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joaquim Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Falcão having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Aldo Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mr. Foot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 played minutes Canas FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Gaspar. Pedro Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The long shot by Vladimiro Figueira in the 20th minute really tested Nuno Guarda's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Joaquim Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Anselmo Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Vítor Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Aldo Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedro Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Anselmo Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 played minutes Joaquim Simões rounded Mr. Foot's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Aquilino Moreira hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mr. Foot's zone, Vítor Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Falcão came out of the goal and Vítor Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Mr. Foot's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Simões came free, but Anselmo Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canas FC's Joaquim Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Guarda having to interfere.
