After a rather tough play, Massorra's Lourenço Queirós got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Armando Moura struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Cândido Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Massorra. In the 15th match minute, SC Gualdim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Armando Moura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Cândido Martins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Massorra getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alexandre Domingues hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Gualdim booed when Massorra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cândido Martins made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Armando Moura sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, SC Gualdim's Sandro Esteves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Carlos Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Cândido Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Fonseca in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Abreu in the 39th minute of play forced Massorra's goalkeeper Paulo Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Macedo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Gualdim's Carlos Abreu. But to his dismay, Carlos Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 45th minute, Carlos Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Cândido Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Fonseca in the 62nd minute of the match. Hugo Martins hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Alexandre Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes SC Gualdim got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Martins. After 70 played minutes Basílio Torres rounded Massorra's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Paulo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Torres in the 74th minute of the match. Basílio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Macedo having to interfere. The supporters of Massorra booed when SC Gualdim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Cristiano Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cândido Martins was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Armando Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Massorra's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Macedo having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, Massorra's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Torres came free, but Paulo Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
