Adolfo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Caires having to interfere. If Joel Sesimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albertino Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. David Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. The supporters of Fraguas booed when Calhandriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Vilela's late challenge caught a Fraguas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Vilela helped the player get up and apologised. Delfim Vilela hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. If Manuel Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Raimundo Caires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Pereira in the 54th minute of play. David Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Raimundo Caires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Caires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Joel Sesimbra scored 0-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee gave Fraguas a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Fonseca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calhandriz's Raimundo Caires. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Calhandriz's zone, Manuel Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Caires came out of the goal and Manuel Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, David Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fraguas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calhandriz the free kick. David Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Raimundo Caires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Pereira in the 80th minute of the match. Armando Baptista was a little too slow when Alex Alves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-2. If Manuel Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Calhandriz's Alex Alves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Baptista. Armando Baptista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Armando Baptista made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Joel Sesimbra sent off a good shot on target. Joel Sesimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Armando Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Fraguas's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Alves came free, but Armando Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
