Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Assunção started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Pombares's Jorge Rocha got control of the ball when Jacinto Morais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavier Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Xavier Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Rocha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hugo Oliveira. André Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bruno Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Franzilhal's Afonso Assunção got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Jacinto Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Pereira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Fontes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Xavier Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute André Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pombares's Xavier Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Gustavo Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Franzilhal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pombares the free kick. A collision led to SC Franzilhal getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gustavo Neto hit a great ball. When Jorge Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pombares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Esteves couldn't finish the play. Bruno Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Leiria in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Leiria to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Xavier Fontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Pereira. Xavier Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Humberto Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Eduardo Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If André Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Leiria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Jorge Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Assunção in the 76th minute of play. Xavier Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Afonso Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Bruno Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute André Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Afonso Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pombares's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
