Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristóvão Faria started the match with the kick off. When Cristóvão Faria came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the SC Anciao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Faria couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pereiros's Henrique Viveiros got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, André Amaro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pereiros's Gervásio lago didn't even have to move. Cristóvão Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristóvão Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Anciao's zone, Alexandre Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Santarém came out of the goal and Alexandre Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervásio lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Fonseca in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, SC Anciao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Anciao getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Alexandre Magalhães hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeu Sobral to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Amadeu Sobral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pereiros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Cristóvão Faria scored to the left of an out of position Gervásio lago, making the score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alexandre Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Sobral's late challenge caught a SC Anciao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Sobral helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Anciao booed when Pereiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Sobral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervásio lago made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Miguel Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Pereiros's Gervásio lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Pereiros from getting a goal against them. When Pereiros's Alexandre Marinho, in the 81st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Pereiros. After 82 minutes, Alexandre Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Anciao and the Pereiros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre Magalhães hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Miguel Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Cristóvão Faria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gervásio lago. The goal made the score 1-2. Alexandre Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Santarém having to interfere. SC Anciao's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
