In the 26th minute of the match Tomás Nunes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Vale skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute Luís Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the SC Ribeirinho defense, Luís Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Vale. The SC Ribeirinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Vale should have stopped the shot. The FC Green Day fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when FC Green Day's Luís Pereira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
