Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ivo Matias got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Matias in the 8th minute of play forced Invicta United's goalkeeper Fábio Rijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivo Matias in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fábio Rijo saved Invicta United from getting behind. Lúcio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nivaldo Azeredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Palha having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in O gordinho FC's zone, Nivaldo Azeredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Palha came out of the goal and Nivaldo Azeredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When O gordinho FC's Ivo Matias in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Invicta United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute, Tarcísio Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Graça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nivaldo Azeredo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Ivo Matias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fábio Rijo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fábio Rijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Graça in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Candal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th play minute Manuel Graça came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fábio Rijo. 0-4. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Ivo Matias took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Fábio Rijo to make any attempt to save it. Manuel Candal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. António Palha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lúcio Marques came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Invicta United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Marques couldn't finish the play. Invicta United's Fábio Rijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Matias in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nivaldo Azeredo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Invicta United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nivaldo Azeredo hit a great ball. António Palha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Candal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Rijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Manuel Candal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O gordinho FC's António Palha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as O gordinho FC's Ivo Matias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fábio Rijo. That made the score 0-6 after 94 minutes of play. O gordinho FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
