SC Pintado's Adolfo Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Almeida in the 12th minute of play. SC Pintado's Mariano Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Sandro Paiva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Pereira skillfully saved the ball. Mariano Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Freire having to interfere. When Dário Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Anjo Mortal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário Fernandes couldn't finish the play. Dário Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Pereira having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Daniel Baptista notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Anjo Mortal's Rafael Freire. Rafael Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
